Last month, Australia’s favourite one stage summer festival with no clashes, FOMO announced their hugely anticipated 2018 return, seamlessly dropping one of their biggest line-ups yet. Today, FOMO announce four official sideshows, lined up for KaytranadaPost MaloneSZA and Tourist.

Montreal’s Kaytranada will perform a one-off show in New Zealand, heading to Auckland’s iconic music fortress Powerstation on Friday, January 5. A leader in both hip-hop and dance worlds, the widely loved producer will be joined by none other than Tourist, lending his intricate craft to warm up the stage.

Recently shattering Apple Music’s single streaming record with 25 million streams in one week as well as holding the current #1 single in Australia & New Zealand for latest track “Rockstar”, is Post Malone. Due to overwhelming demand, and FOMO Brisbane quickly selling out, the widely acclaimed, alternative hip-hop wonder will play Brisbane's Eatons Hill Hotel on Friday, January 5 and Perth's Metro City on Friday, January 12, lighting up the stage with unreleased & new material as well as songs from his platinum selling debut album Stoney.

Finally, Jersey-native and rising star SZA will head to Auckland to perform at Powerstation on Tuesday, January 9, before returning to Sydney for a monumental appearance at Enmore Theatre on Sunday, January 14. Following the release of her globally applauded debut album CTRL, which exposed raw, unashamedly honest and thought provoking lyrics and saw her collaborate with heavyweights Isaiah RashadTravis Scott and Kendrick Lamar, SZA has become an unstoppable force and one of the year’s most talked-about new artists.

Kaytranada, Post Malone, SZA and Tourist make up FOMO’s galactic 2018 line-up, alongside Californian phenomenon RL Grime, enigmatic, Grammy nominated ZHUMad Decent and OWSLA favourite Drekoand boundary-pushing, London-based production unit Stooki Sound. The local rota of artists include electronic pop legend The Kite String Tangle, NLV Records boss and Australian music champion Nina Las Vegas, Sweat It Out signee Dena Amy, as well as four aspiring artists from triple j Unearthed, who’ll be given a chance to play in each city, as part of a nation-wide competition.

FOMO is fast becoming one of Australia’s biggest and brightest summer festivals, renowned for its consistent, world-class line-up. From its humble beginnings in Brisbane in 2015 with 8500 tickets, to selling out six weeks early the following year, the festival now stretches across three cities in 2018, seeing Brisbane sell out in under a week and the special addition of FOMO By Night in Melbourne, a one-night only uniquely curated event at Melbourne’s Festival Hall with selected artists.

This year, FOMO festival has partnered with music charity Heaps Decent, donating $1 from every online ticket in 2018 to their incredible cause. Since 2007, Heaps Decent have worked with young people across Australia’s metropolitan, regional and remote areas, providing quality music and art workshops to build positive stories, connections and community engagement through music production, recording and multimedia visual arts.

With more epic FOMO announcements to come, including FOMO Eats unveiling which local food and beverage champions will be lending their quality produce in each city, you don’t want to miss out on the latest offerings. Tickets to the official FOMO sideshows go on sale Thursday, October 5- don’t get left behind for some of the biggest shows this summer.
