Horrorshow Cancels / Urthboy Joins Lineup

Big Pineapple Music Festival HQ has just received word that Horrorshow are unable to make it to the Sunshine Coast for BPMF 2017. The boys sent us this message to share with fans:

“Our sincerest apologies to all those who were looking forward to partying with us at Big Pineapple Music Festival - we have had to cancel our appearance due to overseas touring opportunities in the USA!

This isn't a decision we made lightly - we looked at every possible option which would allow us to still play at the festival but in the end this is the call we had to make. We'd like to express our gratitude to the festival's organisers for inviting us to play in the first place, and we look forward to returning to the Sunny Coast (one of our favourite parts of Australia) ASAP! big love -solo & adit”

We wish them the best with their overseas endeavors and look forward to seeing them in the Sunshine State in the future.

In light of this news, BPMF are stoked to be welcoming a new addition to the Big Pineapple Music Festival fam! Hello Urthboy!

The prolific multi-award winning artist is a mainstay in the Aus hip hop scene, with no less than 5 albums under his belt and countless sold out shows to his name.

"We played a huge sold out show at Solbar last year and love playing on the Sunny Coast. It's dope to come back for Big Pineapple!"

He blew us away in 2016 with killer track, ‘Second Heartbeat’ featuring fellow BPMF buddie Sampa the Great. Having just released his newest album ‘The Past Beats Inside Me Like A Second Heartbeat’ to killer reviews, Urthboy keeps the momentum going with brand spanking new single ‘Crushing Hard’. With all this fresh music under his belt, you better believe us when we say that Urthboy’s BPMF set is going to be HUGE.
