Alex Lahey Announces 'Wes Anderson' Tour Supports
Alex Lahey is thrilled to announce that The Football Club will join her on the road for her upcoming 'Wes Anderson' National Tour.
On asking her Melbourne pals to come along for the ride Alex said "Inviting The Football Club to join me on my first Australian tour for the year was a no-brainer - I couldn't be more of a fan of the band and Ruby's songwriting."
The Football Club are a folk-punk band from Footscray. They sing sad songs with big drunken choruses and heaped mouthfuls of words, telling stories on topics like sexuality, gender, friendship, and cheap red wine.
The 'Wes Anderson' national tour kicks off in May when Alex returns from her U.S tour and SXSW showcase performances.
