PANAMA RELEASES HOPE FOR SOMETHING EP (REMIXES)

Following up from the June release of Panama’s highly anticipated EP HOPE FOR SOMETHING, today singer/songwriter Jarrah McCleary has unveiled HOPE FOR SOMETHING EP (REMIXES). The EP has been re-molded into 6 remixes from Henrik SchwarzClassixx & TurbotitoTuff City KidsIsaac TichauerMatvei and Wild & Free.

HOPE FOR SOMETHING (REMIXES) takes McCleary’s songwriting to the dance floor, with club burners from German legends Henrik Schwarz and Tuff City Kids, as well as a thoughtful and understated take on “Undertow” from Classixx & Turbotito (one half of Poolside).

The EP also features “Undertow (Isaac Tichauer remix)”, the track preserves McCleary’s confessional storytelling navigating turmoil and peace, while giving it a fresh new sound infused with Isaac Tichauer’s signature sound.

“I just love hearing other producer/s interpretations of my songs. There's some serious amazing talent here. I have to give a shout out to the Classixx guys and Filip (half of Poolside) for their incredible remix of 'Undertow'. I got to work with these guys a fair bit in LA and I always love their vibe. These remixes really take you on a journey, I recommend going to the beach, closing your eyes and putting your headphones in.” - Jarrah McCleary

HOPE FOR SOMETHING EP was arguably Panama’s richest and most moving work yet.
Title track “Hope For Something” proved therapeutic for McCleary, exploring themes close to home like inner struggle and finding strength within yourself. Since it’s late April release, the single has clocked over 1.4 million streams on Spotify, hit #1 on Hype Machine and featured in Spotify Viral Charts across Australia, NZ, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia and Ireland.

Throughout the rest of the EP, McCleary touches on the complexities of relationships, communication and deeply missing the one you love, each song drawing from personal experience.
