How would you describe the LOSER project to a new listener?

Loser sounds like Foo-asis but with more guitar solos. We play rock music and the best way to check us out is live.

You’ve just released your EP, ‘Stadium Dreams on a Bedroom Budget’ (congrats!). Describe it to us!

Stadium Dreams On A Bedroom Budget is a mini journey. It’s a snapshot of a band that has realised the only way to move forward is to let go of everything you think you want to be, and just acknowledge what you are. Stop fighting the current and flow with it. It’s 6 songs that run the gauntlet between ballads, mid paced rockers and flat out bangers.

What were some key creative influences that helped shape this EP?

A healthy dose of caffeine, a shit load of vapes, some crappy junk food and lots of The Beatles, Oasis, Foo Fighters and Aerosmith on the stereo.

What is one thing you hope listeners take away from Stadium Dreams?

We hope they feel that it's real. We recorded, produced and mixed it all ourselves, and we wanted that to show through in the music. It has mistakes and that is fine, because actual humans played on it. We also hope it makes them wanna rock out and just enjoy their time listening to it,

You recently played a string of shows on your east coast tour in support of the EP- What were some memorable moments?

We had a show in Newcastle were we bought the entire audience a shot halfway through the show. It cost us a fortune, but, in the moment it felt right and it brought us all together. When the show recommenced post-shot the vibes were so high and everyone felt connected in the room.

Do you have any plans to celebrate now that it’s out in the world?

Our only plan is to play as many shows as possible. That’s what a band does and that’s all we are – a band. There’s so much pressure to also be a manager, a content creator, a social media genius etc. but we don’t give a shit about any of that. We just wanna play our tunes to as many people who’ll come and rock with us.
