Can you tell me a bit about your single ‘Cool’?

For me, ‘Cool’ is a sarcastic song about my ex. It’s a fun and empowering song to me about realising I deserved better and stopped trying to be the ‘Cool’ girlfriend.

What are your influences and how do they affect your songwriting?

The biggest influence for this song would probably be Soccer Mommy. She’s definitely influenced my songwriting style to be more grungy.

Is there anyone you would like to collaborate with? Why?

I’d love to collaborate with Middle Kids- I think we share a similar style and have similar influences.

If you could only listen to one song for the next month, what would it be?

Listening to any song for a month is eventually totrure. I do it all the time. Alex G- Bobby for sure.

What is your favourite thing to do on the weekends?

I love hanging out at Waterfalls/ Nature in general. I just moved back to the Sunshine Coast to be closer to nature :)

If you could change something about the Australian music industry, what would it be?

I’m not sure about that. I love the music that comes out of Aus. Really glad we’re able to have gigs and festivals again!

What show are you binging at the moment?

I’ve just started Euphoria, I really love it. My housemates tell me to wait til season 2 and i’ll probably turn it off haha because it gets too intense.

What has been your greatest career highlight so far?

Probably playing Hidden lanes festival at The Zoo last year. It felt like magic being on stage. I’m really looking forward to playing Jungle Love 2022!

What’s next for you?

New music coming soon. I think my music is growing and changing a lot so I'm excited to start recording some new material to release soon :)
