‘Chica Diablo’ is a haunting melody that delves deep into the intricate dance of manipulation and love. Based on a close friend, who was ensnared by the intoxicating allure of their supposed soulmate, spirals to the brink of self-destruction. This one hit close to home because I too have dealt with these demons in the past. ‘Chica Diablo’ may sound like the soundtrack to a sinister party, but it's born from a place of stark reality, darkness, and sorrow. It's the raw emotion of life's most harrowing moments, woven into a musical tapestry that invites you to explore the depths of love's treacherous journey.

How does the track differ from your previous releases?

This isn't just another Rich Delinquents song; it's a polished evolution that is sharper and more vivid than ever before. It's not just electronic – it's EMOTRONIC.

How was the process of writing/producing this one?

Typically, the creation of songs involves several sessions, each with its own distinct goals and areas of concentration. But then there's ‘Chica Diablo’, a song that seemingly materialized out of thin air, bursting forth in its entirety within the span of just one hour. It arrived with all its elements perfectly aligned - the instrumental, the melody, and the lyrics - as if the muses themselves had conspired to gift it to me in one magical moment. It was a whirlwind of creative brilliance, a musical lightning strike, and it was DONE.
