AMASTRO ANNOUNCES AUS & NZ TOUR

Further exploring his spirituality, Canberra electronic producer, Amastro, returns in full force dropping an Australian and New Zealand Tour to promote his brand new four track EP, "Insecure Demons". He will also be supporting Sydney bass act, Carmada, on their Club Carmada National Tour.

This four track EP includes his earlier release "Inhibitions", which played three times on Triple J in the first week supported by Alex DysonSally & Erica & The Friday Night Shuffle. The EP title is a powerful statement that reflects the idea that your own demons can simply be labelled as your own insecurities. When you diminish those insecurities, you can shed the demons attached to them. The other three songs on the record are; TigerPretty Scars and Self Destruct, which are very personal songs that tap into the themes of discovering one's true self as well as having that self destructing side.

"I wanted to explore more of my spirituality and to be able to share my journey", says Amastro. "This release includes a bunch of songs that i've wanted to listen to when I am chilling out but haven't been available".

Amastro's signature electronic production is present with interjecting spoken samples adding to the layering to create an immersive quality for the listener as heard in Inhibitions. He also makes every single sound from scratch.

The artist opened the Avalanche stage over the weekend for Jindabyne's Snowtunes festival. Having only been on the scene for just over two years, he has had countless opportunities playing on some of the biggest and most prestigious Australian stages like Splendour In The Grass (two years in a row), Party In The PaddockGroovin The Moo Canberra, and his first international show at Your Paradise Fiji alongside the world's best, such as SkrillexSlumberjack and Anna Lunoe. Amastro has also been nominated for 2x NLMA (National Live Music Awards) for 'Best New Electronic Act' and 'Best New Artist'.
