Banana Bus Festival Transport is the first of its kind; the only suburban based pick-up and drop- off festival shuttle service! Gone are the days of designated drivers or having to haul your camping and festival gear all the way into the city just to jump aboard some boring, mundane transfer bus service. And it gets better – Banana Bus is completely app based, so you can book your ride on the go!

Banana Bus understands the struggle of the commute to and from those camping festivals located (literally) in the middle of nowhere, and prides itself on being able to provide convenience, comfort, and fun so festivals goers can leave their worries behind and start the party early! Each Banana Bus guest will receive a complimentary festival survival kit upon arrival, including amenities such as a reusable drawstring bag, water bottle, paw-paw ointment, condom, and souvenir Polaroid picture! This season Banana Bus is also introducing the option for guests to purchase additional luggage, to cater to those with extra large eskies or extraordinary costumes!

Banana Bus will travel to major and boutique festivals all throughout the year – departing from and returning to a vast number of locations throughout suburban Melbourne, including Caulfield, Clifton Hill, Coburg, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Doncaster, Frankston, Footscray, Narre Warren, North Melbourne, Preston, Richmond, Ringwood, St. Albans, and St. Kilda. The easy-to- use app provides an in-app ticketing system and ensures secure payments with Stripe – so all customers need to do is select their desired pick-up/drop-off location, which festival they need wheels to, and Banana Bus takes care of the rest!

Owner and Director of Banana Bus Festival Transport, Dougie Harvey, explained he was “inspired to create a service that eliminated inconvenience for festival goers and allowed them to have the best time possible. There’s no hiding that drugs and alcohol are a part of festival culture, and Banana Bus offers a safe, reliable, and fucking rad way to get you there and back without the concern of putting anyone’s life in danger on the roads.”

This season will see Banana Bus run services to Falls (Lorne), UNIFY, Rainbow Serpent, Babylon, Strawberry Fields, Earthcore (VIC), The Pleasure Garden, Meredith, Pitch, Seven Sisters, Gaytimes, Grampians Music Festival, Boogie, and Groovin’ The Moo, with more to be announced!
