CLEA ANNOUNCES EAST COAST TOUR AND EP RELEASE DATE

Clea has released the video for her new single, 'Bright Blue'

The clip's release accompanies the announcement of Clea's debut EP, 'Fairweather', due for release on June 16 through Mirror Records, alongside a run of live dates throughout July.

Following on from her sell-out single launch at Brisbane's Junk Bar, fans will be able to catch Clea as she performs in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in support of the EP.

Saturday July 1 - Exeter Hotel, Adelaide

Sunday July 2 - Cellar Door Sessions, Adelaide (sold out)

Thursday July 6 - Worker's Club, Melbourne

Saturday July 8 - Brighton Up Bar, Sydney

Saturday July 15 - The Foundry, Brisbane

The music video was shot and edited by Brisbane based cinematographer, Jeff Anderson and builds upon the creative and conceptual themes explored in the music.

As Clea describes, "The sinuous, relaxed movements in the Bright Blue clip are designed to express disillusionment with today's political leadership, while the horizon - which features prominently - works as a metaphor for the optimism I still feel".

Clea also provided much of the creative direction for the video, which saw her choreographing movement, sewing costumes, assisting in the clip's direction and collaborating with her two best friends, Billie and Grace (of Nice Biscuit), both of whom feature prominently in the clip's choreographed scenes.
