ORIGIN NYE 2017 EXPANDS THE LINEUP WITH 5 MORE ACTS ANNOUNCED
Origin NYE today announces even more artists to its 2017 line up; Including Danny Brown, Giggs, back to back set with Alix Perez and Skeptical along with home-grown talent Kucka and Swindail.
English Grime artist Giggs joins Origin NYE 2017 for a special guest performance that’s not to be missed. Having collaborat- ed with Drake on the More Life track “KMT” he recently surprised Reading festival fans by bringing the OVO rapper out for surprise performance in London.
Taking to the stage this New Year’s Eve is Danny Brown. The Detroit rapper is one of the most consistently intensive artists working in popular music right now known for his individuality, being described by MTV as “one of rap’s most unique figures in recent memory”.
Also performing at Origin NYE 2017 is Alix Perez playing a collaborative set with Skeptical, having teamed up on the drum and bass release ‘Without A Trace’ EP earlier this year. The pair also teamed up on Alix Perez’ own imprint 1985 Musics debut EP for “Room 667”
Finally, Origin NYE welcomes Australian emerging talents Kucka and Swindail to the festival.
With these artists joining DJ Snake, Kaytranada, mura masa, ScHoolboy Q, Stormzy and Andy C, alongside a huge line up that includes A-Trak, Baauer, Goldie, High Contrast, $uicideboy$, Rezz, and many more, Origin NYE 2017 promises to be the summer’s biggest yet.
