Finding Forever chronicles your life experiences in the past six to seven years.
Tell us more about how the whole album came into being, including the wins and losses you’ve made in the making of this release.

Well it all started when me and my daughter’s mother separated and music was my only escape from reality and i found my way through my lyrics of expressing myself and at the time i was already suffering from depression, anxiety, trust issues, losing friends, family issues etc just a whole bunch of life experiences that brought me the ideas and inspiration to come up with FINDING FOREVER.

Among the five songs, which one do you resonate with the most? Is there a specific line that you consider your favourite?

I would say all 5 songs resonate with me personally but the one I would say that really resonates would be CHASING RAINBOWS because it shows my growth as an artist, my favourite lines from the song would be the beginning of the second verse; “Top of my game, can't change i’m a don like this, Fortune and fame i stay in my lane, I was just born like this”.

What valuable lessons did you learn after going through the trials, tribulations, and triumphs you described from your songs?

I learnt to never give up on something you truly believe in, no matter how many times you fall, I always told myself to come back harder and stronger than ever, never quitting was literally the only distinguishing quality, Forgive and Forget, know your worth and love yourself always.

The number of emerging Australian Hip-Hop artists are exponentially growing. What do you think is your edge among all the other rising artists?

I believe so but at the same time i feel like i’m bringing a whole different vibe and energy to my music and as an artist even in my music videos which I also creative direct as well, a lot of artists i find like to hop on trends and catch a wave, Myself & Skyy (Producer) have agreed to stay true to ourselves and create our own wave, it may take longer than others to get recognised but its a risk we willing to take to bring something completely different to the world.

You have previously performed in various shows, especially in Adelaide. What do you miss the most about performing live before an audience?

I’m currently living in Perth, Australia, I’ve never actually been so Adelaide before but it’s definitely on my bucket list, but in Perth we never really had major issues with small gigs, only festivals have been cancelled all over but normal gigs/ shows are still happening in Perth and since the lockdown restrictions eased up last year my first show back was at a Blacks Lives Matter Charity Show, and been performing ever since getting booked for certain events, my biggest one was just at the end of may this year, feels good to be performing again feeling that energy from the crowd again just feels very uplifting.

Who inspired you to become part of the music industry, and who/what inspires you to continue to thrive?

Personally, I used always listen to R&B music, I initially always wanted to be a R&B singer at first but never had them vocal cords but i still sing there and there in my songs with them melodies, but i was introduced to rap music from hearing a song by NAS- IF I RULED THE WORLD and that song really resonated with me and really inspired me at the same time, during high school i started writing poetry to just express myself and later on that transitioned to becoming my lyrics/raps, and then over the years obviously listening to more artists at the time like J.COLE, KENDRICK, DRAKE, KID CUDI, NIPSEY HUSSLE i would say those guys really helped me mould my sound into the sound you hear today, and most importantly my biggest inspiration would have to be my daughter she motivates and inspires me every single day to achieve greatness and nothing less.
