Flume wins Best Dance/Electronic Album at Grammys 2017

Flume (aka Harley Streten) has taken home a Grammy Award in the category of Best Dance/Electronic Album for his album Skin. Other nominees in the category included esteemed electronic artists Tycho, Jean-Michel Jarre, Underworld and Louie Vega.

Harley, first-time Grammy-winner, said at the ceremony he is "really proud to be here representing Australia and Australian music on this stage right now."

Flume's Grammy Award win comes alongside a nomination for Best Dance Recording for 'Never Be Like You' featuring Kai, his hit single which recently claimed the #1 spot in triple j's Hottest 100.

It has been an incredible 12 months for the Sydney-sider, whose sophomore album Skin debuted at #1 in Australia, #2 in NZ and #8 in the U.S. and Canada. In November, the album received 8 ARIA Awards (more than any other artist in the past twenty years), including the prestigious Album of The Year.

Showing no signs of slowing down - 'Never Be Like You ft Kai' is currently 5 x Platinum in Australia, 2 x Platinum in the US and popular all over the world, while 'Say It' featuring Tove Lo is currently climbing the U.S. Top 40 radio chart.

This Friday Flume is set to release Skin Companion II EP, the second follow up in a series of releases featuring new music from the recording sessions for Skin. Preview snippets of the four track EP at flumemusic.com.
