Fortunes. are back with a remix to their '501's' track from Queens rapper Dai Burger, which premiered via The Fader overnight. The single released as the first offering off their upcoming project this year and was followed with a visual counterpart, providing a glimpse into their soul soaked world. On the remix Dai Burger provides a verse in a 90s style boom bap flow, a fitting addition to the nostalgic Fortunes. track.
Of the feature, Barnaby shares, "Initially, the plan was to have a feature verse on the 501's beat. After we got Dai's verse back we all decided it was so dope we wanted to put a new spin on it to compliment her verse, but still keep the core of the original."
Conor added, "I was so amazed when I found out Dai wanted to do a verse on our song! I have been following her since way back in day and when I first heard her verse. I was seriously so stoked! It was perfectly suited and I knew we had made the right decision to get a female rapper to do it."
Dai shares, "I actually heard the instrumental beat before I heard the full track. Once I heard that voice!? I knew it was my duty and obligation to slay that shit. Fun yet soulful track, I can't wait to bump this in my car like a boss."
