Lake People Gathering Featuring Adam Freeland

Presented by Vision Hound, Lake People Gathering celebrates its third chapter, this time at Alumbra, Shed 9 on Feb 2nd with a massive line-up that includes former breaks superstar and musical visionary Adam Freeland, performing an exclusive one-off Australian DJ set, along with a stellar cast including Mojo Filter (UK), Dreems (Multi Culti), Uone (Beat & Path) & The Oddness Live (Beat & Path).
 
When breaks and breakbeat culture stormed the dance world at the turn of the 21st century, the name Adam Freeland was at the forefront of the movement, galvanizing fans with his feverish breaks and incendiary basslines.  Since then Freeland has been on a journey of deep musical and personal discovery breaking through the bonds of genre with his electronic outfit The Acid.  Lake People Gathering will be Freeland’s first and only Australian DJ show since 2014, he will also be performing the score for the Nobel peace prize-winning film, "The Bomb" with his band The Acid live as part of Sydney Festival.
 
Lake People Gathering events, which have previously featured headliners including Rampue and Bedouin, have earned a reputation as one of a kind experiences. Showcasing a range of interactive performances, sunset rituals of sound healing and ceremony, aerial performances, subversive visuals and 3D mapping, all produced to aid the expansion of the mind and soul. This third instalment of Lake People Gathering will be held at Alumbra, Central Pier Shed 9 on the 2nd of February, 2018.
