MELBOURNE PRODUCER JOHNNY THIRD RELEASES SULTRY NEW SINGLE ‘ONLY I COULD’

Fresh off the back of a 10-date club tour across Australia and New Zealand, Melbourne vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Johnny Third has released his latest sultry single ‘Only I Could’. The track straddles the realms of nightclub dancefloors and easy radio listening, coupling catchy melody lines with a huge future bass sound.

Built upon exhilarating drops, ‘Only I Could’s’ electronic flourishes glitch and glimmer over four enticing minutes – Third’s whispery, beckoning lower register conveying feelings of yearning and wanting, drawing upon pop and R&B influences on his smooth and soulful vocals throughout the bridge and chorus.

Johnny Third's penchant for memorable sing-along choruses and big breaks has seen his musical style attract comparisons to producers-cum-vocalists Alison Wonderland and Elk Road through to international festival headliners including Major Lazer and Martin Garrix.

A prominent artist on the Melbourne club scene, Johnny Third has become a mainstay at No Chill, was added as a national support on Black Tiger Sex Machine’s tour and has performed at Earthcore and Courtyard @ ivy to name a few. Having amassed a huge local and international following, his last single ‘Quick Love’ has been streamed over 123,000 times across Soundcloud and Spotify in just over two months, while his previous songs have inspired countless fan-made YouTube videos accumulating up to 10 million plays.
