Ahead of the release of their debut album Some Kind of Blue this September 29 via Spunk Records, Sydney-based band NOIRE - aka Jessica Mincher (vocals and synth) and Billy James (guitar) -  have unveiled the cinematic music video for their new single 'He's My Baby'.

NOIRE have also announced intimate shows in Paris and Berlin this month, followed by an extensive headline Australian tour this November.

Official music video for 'He's My Baby', the second track from NOIRE's debut album 'Some Kind of Blue' due 29 September 2017 via Spunk Records.

Directed by NOIRE and Nick Mckk and shot in a Katoomba café, the cinematic black and white clip for ‘He’s My Baby’ is a self-aware nod to Jim Jarmusch and his iconic filmCoffee & Cigarettes - complete with small town cafes, black and white tiled lino and strangely intimate glimpses into couples' lives.

“We live our life in cafes, they have a real isolation about them and we always make it part of our creative routine to have a coffee before we start anything," says Mincher"We also love Jim Jarmusch's film Coffee & Cigarettes - so we tried to create something similar with the long uncomfortable slow shots.”

Citing inspiration from Air, Mazzy Star and Nick Cave & The Bad SeedsSome Kind of Blue is a cinematic soundscape charting the fluidity of love and loneliness.

"'He's My Baby' is about small towns, loneliness and being grateful for what you have,"says Mincher.

Some Kind of Blue was produced and mixed by Wayne Connelly (Underground LoversYou Am I, The Vines) with the help of Thom Eagleton on drums (Wild Honey) and Rosie Fitzgerald on bass (I Know Leopard), and was mastered by Ben Delaney.

Having just completed a run of shows with Flowertruck and Big White on the Spunk Records Spring Tour, the band are currently preparing to travel to Europe for intimate performances in Berlin and Paris - including their dream show at David Lynch’s Club Silencio, a special performance at a LesInrocks hosted party and a show with Fazerdaze). NOIRE have also just announced a headline Australian tour this November in support of the new album.
