REVIEW: Travis Scott | Marvel Stadium, Melbourne

The energy at Marvel Stadium last night was unmatched.
Travis Scott brought the house down with insane pyrotechnics, creating an electrifying atmosphere that kept fans on their feet. One of the standout moments was when he performed FE!N not once but five times, much to the crowd’s delight. The setlist was largely consistent with recent shows on the tour, featuring hits like SICKO MODEHighest in the Room, and Type Shit. A thrilling highlight came when Scott invited select fans on stage to rage with him, elevating the energy to an entirely new level.

The diversity in the audience was heartwarming—parents filming their kids as they recorded the show themselves created a wholesome and inclusive vibe. Sheck Wes opened the night with his hit Mo Bamba, but his set lasted only 15 minutes. Afterward, the 45-minute wait for Travis felt unnecessarily long. However, the crowd kept themselves entertained during the lull by forming circle pits, performing backflips, starting Mexican waves, and even storming the GA section, crafting their own atmosphere.

This downtime could have been an excellent opportunity to showcase Australian talent—a missed chance that aligns with "Michael's rule" about supporting local acts.
