Sydney Rockers Interim Release New Single & Video

‘Calling Me Back’ is the brand new single and accompanying video from Sydney via Toowoomba alt-rockers Interim.

The band, featuring long-time school mates Alec Snow, Jock Houston, Jimmy Basnett, Matt Hollonds and Lachy Becke are releasing a single each month for 2017 that collectively will form the band’s debut album Escapism

The video for ‘Calling Me Back’ features Interim front man Alec Snow and his girlfriend Demi Harman - the pair initially met playing love interests on the long-running Australian soap Home & Away.  The clip, filmed in two vintage open top MG’s borrowed on tour from a mate of the band for a laugh, goes into the mind of the singer on tour and explores the bittersweet life on the road, the freedom, good times and camaraderie versus homesickness and intense longing for the ones you love.

Entirely crowdfunded, ‘Calling Me Back’ was recorded at Airlock Studios in Brisbane with producer Yanto Browning (Art of Sleeping, The Jungle Giants, The Belligerents), it comes from an intense 13 day recording session over December 2016 that produced the 12 tracks that make up the forthcoming debut album Escapism

'Calling Me Back' from Interim's forthcoming debut album, 'Escapism', the second of 12 official video clips released each month throughout 2017. Filmed and edited by our long-time friend Adrian Goleby (adriangoleby.com), featuring Demi Harman (instagram.com/demharm).
