The Island LIVE 'Easter Encore' feat: Cut Snake, Indian Summer & MORE

The Island LIVE – ‘Easter Encore’

Easter Thursday 13th April 2017 Sydney Harbour | 5-11pm

After 6 sold out events in a row, we simply couldn’t resist throwing one more Island LIVE party this season on Easter Thursday 13th April. Taking place on the eve of the long public holiday weekend, the Easter Encore will officially bring ‘Season Three’ of The Island LIVE to a close and we’ve pulled together some of our favourite Australian electronic artists to see us off in style!

On headline duties are those lords of the party, Cut Snake, alongside Sweat It Out label mates Indian Summer, emerging electronic producer Willaris.K and purveyor of good taste, LUEN.

Mates since childhood, Cut Snake grew up on the Gold Coast; surfing professionally and competing against each other on a weekly basis. Their focus soon switched to music and the boys have been perfecting their infectious and sun-drenched tech-house vibe ever since. Now mostly located in LA, ‘Action Burger’ and ‘Life’s A Beach’ are the most recent EP’s from the duo, with remixes for Major Lazer, LDRU, Alex Metric, Tove Lo and Dena Amy dropping in the past year. Hold onto the sides, cos this one’s gonna get wet n’ wild!

Backing up the hedonistic vibes will be Melbourne hombres Indian Summer, who are jetting in especially for the party. Recent singles ‘Love Like This’ and ‘Been Here Before’ have been blowing up dancefloors for months and we’re keen AF to grab a slice of their infectious DJ sets. Up next is Willaris. K, the young producer from the Northern Coast of NSW who’s already making a gleaming contribution to the electronic music landscape with his brooding debut ‘Alchemy’. Think Jon Hopkins via Nils Frahm and Bonobo. LUEN rounds off our special Easter Encore, weeks ahead of her slot as an official ‘Marshall’ on the national Groovin the Moo festival tour.
