THE NIGHTS SHARE NEW SINGLE "OTHER ISSUES" TAKEN FROM THEIR FORTHCOMING EP

Continuing to drip feed Sydney’s electronic music scene with their signature sound is Sydney trio The Nights, here to share their pulsating new single “Other Issues” as premiered earlier today on Nest. Following previous single “Close To You”, "Other Issues" has already been heard on Triple J ahead of its release and is the first official taste of their forthcoming EP set for release in March.

Combining spacey synth heavy beats with echoed vocals and pulsing rhythm, “Other Issues” takes The Nights' sound capabilities to new heights and will no doubt be a game changer in a live setting, something they have been perfecting for some time. With all three members coming from various creative backgrounds, from playing iconic music festivals around the globe to being sound designer of Sydney’s infamous Vivid Live, The Nights have no shortage of creative ambition.

Three years on since their debut release in 2013, the Sydney trio have evolved and explored new depths both sonically and visually. This summer, the group plan to blur the lines between electronic music and art in a visual reality taking on clubs all across the country. Receiving plenty of support from community radio and catching the attention of artists like RÜFÜS & Touch Sensitive, The Nights are one to keep on your radar this year.

Emerge yourself in "Other Issues" and sit tight for their EP to be released in March.

NEST HQ Premiere: http://nesthq.com/the-nights-other-issues/ Residing somewhere in space between the planets of ambient electronica and mellow-mooded house lies the music of Sydney-based trio, The Nights. The group, originally assembled in 2013, consists of former PANAMA band member, Tom Marland, VIVID Live’s Rob Campbell, and producer/percussionist, Walter Flamenco, who all initially met through an Ableton school years back. Now, years after the project’s inception, The Nights are back in action with their sophomore EP planned for release this March. Ahead of the spring release, The Nights have shared the second cut, “Other Issues”, from the forthcoming EP, which sees the trio fully enveloped in celestial synth work, driven by a gentle, sub-120BPM rhythm. The elements of the track beg for live play, which is exactly what The Nights plan to do with it thanks to their collective backgrounds in instrumentation.
