VANFEST drops 2017 line-up feat; Ali Barter, Amy Shark, Tash Sultana & More!

VANFEST, the leading NSW regional music festival is returning for its 4th year this summer, delivering yet again the goods with another stellar line-up of artists heading out to the Central West.

This year will see a packed out program of some of the biggest names of 2017, with the likes of Ali Barter, Amy Shark, Carmada, Cosmo’s Midnight, Dean Lewis, Dune Rats, Manalion, MUTO, PLGRMS, San Cisco, Thundamentals, Wilsonn & the incredible breakthrough powerhouse Tash Sultana, all gracing the main stage over a two-day camping festival on 1st and 2nd December, 2017.

The boutique music festival started from humble beginnings when father and son duo Matt Clifton and his father, Grant saw the need for quality entertainment in the region.

The born and raised country duo have continued to deliver a credible and safe weekend of entertainment for the locals and surrounding communities over the past 3 years, featuring high profile International touring artists such as Rudimental, John Butler Trio, Peking Duk, Chet Faker, Angus & Julia Stone, Matt Corby amongst many others.

Driving business to the region with overnight tourism was also a primary focus for the promoters. With the event reaching new heights every year, and seeing the community benefits it brings to the region, it was a strategic alignment by the local council to acquire the event to ensure VANFEST’s future within Forbes. The combined resources will enable VANFEST to continue its growth and prosper the region with economic and tourism benefits.

"We would not be here without the ongoing involvement and support from the local community. We are proud of where Vanfest has come, and will continue to build and bring great artists and entertainment to the Central West to help local businesses thrive.” Says, Grant Clifton

On the line-up this year Matt Clifton says, “We have such huge amounts of talent in this country, and so have specifically selected from the local talent pool where we have tapped into most genres. This year is a powerhouse of new talent, and can’t wait for the Central West to experience it for themselves.”

VANFEST will continue with the two-day camping format with the festival kicking off on Friday night prior to the all-day event on Saturday. With the additional market stalls, pop-up beach bars, interactive sponsor activations, carnival rides, ‘sitten cool’ Jacuzzi’s by the stage, and more, VANFEST is set to be a stand out event this summer.

Pre-sale tickets for this year's event kick off on Tuesday July 25, 2017 from 9am. Transport and camping package options available.
