Wax Motif Australian Tour Dates

Wax Motif whose name is Daniel Chien, got his break when playing some of his first gigs in the side room at Chinese Laundry in Sydney, years ago. One of those first nights, legendary Australian DJ, Ajax was headlining the main room, they met and developed a tight bond. Some of Wax's first releases came out on Ajax's Sweat It Out Label. After a few years continuing to build in the Australian scene, Wax Motif set his sights on the American market.

In the few short years since moving to America, he continued to develop a sound that he htook part in creating, G-House. He has had recent releases with Mad Decent, Dim Mak and Tchami's label Confession. Release after release he really developed the G-House sound, and also a great relationship with HARD Festival founder, Gary Richards. Just in the past year Wax Motif performed at some of the biggest North American Festivals including HARD Summer and Lollapalooza.

This summer Wax finds himself coming back to Australia and New Zealand for the first time since 2015. With some new music on the way, and his classic G-House sound, he is excited to bring his original DJ sets back to where it all started
