Hey Antoine, congrats on your debut single ‘One Time’! Can you tell us about the inspiration behind the track?

ServidSounds sent through this beat a while back, the beat itself just gave me vibes straight away. Something about it just made melodies roll off the tongue.

Who are your biggest inspirations when it comes to music?

Oooohh these days Partynextdoor first and foremost. I’m a big Drake fan. Growing up my inspirations were Usher and Bow Wow; I have always liked that type of RnB vibe.

Do you have a particular way of writing music?

Most of the time, I’ll be in some sort of vibe or energy. Then if ServidSounds sends a beat that matches and I can really connect with it, we lay something out like that. I’m always recording melodies on my phone and writing down lyrics, then when the right beat comes through, we can really put it all together.

What is your favourite genre of music to listen to and why?

I always have been and still am an RnB guy. As much as I rap more than I sing, I still prefer RnB. I just feel it deeper and vibe to it more than anything else.

When things start to get back to normal in the world, can we expect live shows from Antoine?

You know this! I’m so ready, ServidSounds and myself have been getting some things ready so we can get out there and do some lives for ya’ll as soon as I can. I definitely can’t wait.
