A Quick Chat with Arty Ziff

Congratulations on the brand-new track ‘Rockstar’! Tell us a bit about the story behind the track?

Thank you so much! I originally made this track as a real slow instrumental, but it needed something else. That is when I sent it over to Lemonade Baby and after that it became a dancefloor track.

You’ve described ‘Rockstar’ as being about the perfect night out. What are some things for you that create that perfect night out?

I think making sure you’re going out with the right group of people. If everyone is on the same page to party, it's going to be a great night. If you always go out with someone who ghosts early, you should drop them for sure.

How did the collaboration come about between yourself and Lemonade Baby?

A friend of mine had mentioned him to me previously, and I really loved his vibe and his unique songwriting. I reached out over Instagram and we hit it off! 

Tell us about how the process was working with Mark Samual Bonanno and how did that collaboration happen?

Working with Mark is so easy, once he had the vision we just followed along for the ride. I’ve known Mark for years, and we are currently gym buddies. So, every time we were making gains we were also chatting about film clip ideas.

I loved your previous track featuring Jade Alice, and now ‘Rockstar’ is another banger! What inspires you to keep creating? 

It’s something that I really love doing, it’s a way that I can express myself creatively. I’m always looking forward to making my next song and trying to make it better than the last. It’s just so fun to do!

What can we expect to see next from you in 2023? 

So many more songs and more collaborations! I’m hoping to release a whole bunch of new music. I'm so excited for what I have planned this year and can't wait to see what the future holds.
