‘Shitty Guitar’ is such an anthem, what inspired it?

Annie had an entitled friend and her rage got to a peak when they bought a new guitar despite constantly complaining about being broke. In summary, it’s about shitty friends with shitty guitars.

If you were an instrument, which one would you be and why?

Annie - drums, as they’re the coolest instrument (Willow agrees)

Tannum - electric guitar as she feels that she’s a shredder at heart.

Harley - cowbell as he’s pointless but kinda fun.

Willow - ukulele just because it’s a fun and cute lil instrument.

What has been your favourite memory together as a band?

Definitely the Big Weekend fest, especially the Brisbane show at The Triffid. It was such an incredible experience getting to play with the other amazing bands and was full of funny drunk memories and tonnes of gig videos in the camera roll.

What show are you binging at the moment?

Annie - Haunting of Bly Manor

Do you have any weird talents or facts that people might not know about you?

Well Annie thinks she has photographic memory while Tannum has one small thumb (but you have to pay to see it). Harley is quietly decent at rock climbing and Willow has perfect pitch (even though she’s a drummer).

Annie - Heath Ledger

Tannum - Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean especially)

Harley - Megan Fox

Willow - Richard Hammond (don’t judge me)

Annie - husky as they’re just cool.

Tannum - golden retriever as she gives golden retriever energy.

Harley - border collie because he’s always up to something.

Willow - labrador because she’s lovable.

What’s your favourite thing about playing live?

Tannum loves when she jumps on stage and lands exactly on the beat, it’s always the coolest thing. Annie likes looking at the other band mates mid-set with a “how cool is this” kinda look. Harley loves getting to climb on things for a sick guitar solo, and Willow just likes to hit things really hard and is just there for a good time.
