A QUICK CHAT WITH N4TE

We can see the growth of you music rapidly increasing, what do you attribute this to?

I mainly attribute it to my continued life experience. My music is a representation of my own feelings and what I’m going through so as I evolve as a person so does my sound and creative process.

How has your creative process been different on 4L than previous tracks?

The creative process for this song was a little different as I wanted to lean more into my melodic side. With my previous releases I focused more on rapping but with this one I wanted to try blending that with a singing style on the hook.

What is 4L about?

4L is about the breakdown of a relationship that you thought would be for life, as the name suggests. It’s not necessarily about a romantic relationship, just a tight bond with someone that has broken over time.

We can see that 2022 has been a solid year of building…
Where do you see yourself at the end of 2023?

At the end of 2023 I see myself as one of the foremost artists in the Australian rap scene. I know I have the talent and more importantly the work ethic, so it’s only a matter of time in my eyes.

If you had a chance to collab with anyone in Aus, who would it be?

If I could collaborate with any artist in Australia it would have to be Mason Dane. I’ve seen him come up in a big way over the past couple years and I think our respective styles would sound crazy on a song.

Where is your dinner spot in Sydney?

My favourite dinner spot in Sydney is my local wings spot called Wings and Tins. Definitely the go to after a long day in the studio.

The next logical option is to see you shredding up some shows, have you got anything planned for the future?

At the moment no as far as shows, but who knows what could happen. The focus right now is to build up a catalogue of bangers so that when I finally start smashing out shows I have the set list to make it as lit as possible!
