CUB SPORT and MIDDLE KIDS team up for East Coast sunset shows

Summer Bright Lager (SBL) dives into summer this October, hosting two of the hottest bands of the moment, Cub Sport and Middle Kids for free gigs at six picturesque Australian coastal hot spots. 

Hitting the road together to perform a series of afternoon shows at some of the most iconic beach towns on the East Coast, Cub Sport and Middle Kids play across three weekends in October/November. Totally FREE, each event features plenty of surprises and at each stop the bands will invite a local, up-coming act to kick off each afternoon before they jump on stage for sunset and beyond. 

With their album BATS releasing tomorrow, Cub Sport come in hot to the Summer Sessions from a huge year so far. Recently releasing their most honest work to date in singles 'O Lord' and 'Chasin', fans will get a chance to hear new tracks from the record as well as classic Cubbies tunes, 'Come On Mess Me Up' and 'I Can't Save You'. Middle Kids join the Sessions fresh off the plane from a three month US tour including Lollapalooza Festival and multiple sold out shows across the country. The Summer Sessionswill be their first hometown gigs since landing back in Australia and a chance for fans who missed out on tickets to their EP tour in July to hear songs like 'Edge of Town', 'Never Start' and 'Your Love' for absolutely FREE.

The announcement of this not-to-be-missed tour follows the huge success of Summer Bright Lager’s first Summer Sessions tour held in February featuring Jagwar Ma, Jack River and The Babe Rainbow. From Wollongong to the Sunshine Coast, Summer Bright Lager's travelling team of artists will invite fans and friends to get up close and personal through a series of unique musical experiences and life-on-the-road content.
