So 2017 has been a big year for you; you’ve signed to Exist Recordings, released really well-received singles, completed your first tour and are now joining the 2017 THIS THAT lineup, which will be your very first summer festival. Has it been as busy as it sounds and how does it feel to be joining this jam-packed lineup?

Yeah definitely been a busy year, in my final year of uni too so juggling that + doing lots of production work for other artists but i like keeping busy. And yeah stoked to be on the lineup for This That, got a few friends on the lineup so i'm sure it'll be a nice day!

What can we expect from your performance?
I perform as a duo with my friend Connor and we both sing + keyboard. Playing most of the new EP + maybe an old (but reworked) song or two

Are there any acts that you’re looking forward to checking out whilst you’re there?
Been meaning to check out Winston Surfshirt at a few recent festivals/shows but haven't seen them yet so keen for them!

You have your second EP coming out soon. Do you feel like you have taken a different approach to this project in particular?
Yeah well there's been just as much collaboration with my friends but i've taken a more prominent role in melodies and lyrics across the project and I think just tried to turn up the heat 20% on everything. My tastes have also shifted slightly since the Before Sleep EP so that definitely moulded where the sound went.

What drew you to releasing the EP on vinyl? Has that been a hard process or fairly easy?
It's always been a dream to put out music on vinyl and Exist records did all the heavy lifting on that so a very easy process haha

Thanks for chatting man, best of luck with the your performance and the EP!

Thanks heaps!
