Introducing Holas May and his Electronically infused single 'Make My Night’

Congratulations on releasing your new single, the first 10 seconds sounds like it’s straight out of a 90’s gameboy console. What was the inspiration behind the production of Make My Night?

A: Thankyou!; I wanted to make this song feel as if you're in a club right now. I was inspired by fun times with friends dancing/having an awesome time in clubs back when there were no covid restrictions! 

Adelaide based electronic producer UOMO (one half of China Roses) really helped me bring these ideas to life and has really put his all into the production stage.

This song is a really interesting mix between hip hop and almost dance music, can we expect more of this crossover in the future? 

A: I hope so!; In the future I'm looking to push my music into a more industrial, Raw  infusion of Hiphop & Electronic music to create something dope and refreshing. 

How did you come up with the name Holas May?  

A: I used a few ingredients for that. 

My first name (Nicholas) is split that inhalf to get Holas and May is the month my dad was born in and he introduced me to hiphop music at a very young age. 

Put them both together & Bam! - you get Holas May. 

4. In five words or less, explain your artist project?

A: Different, Unique, Awesome, Fun, Banger!

You fancy yourself as a songwriter, what would be your dream collaboration and why? 

A: Sia would be my dream Collab!; She's a master in songwriting, written some of the greatest songs ever and has done things not a lot of musicians from Adelaide have done in the past.
