PHAROAHE MONCH AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND TOUR 2017

Australia and New Zealand, 'Get the f*ck up', Grammy Award winning New York MC Pharoahe Monch returns this September for a seven date tour.

Returning for the first time since 2014 the lauded MC brings his faithful DJ Boogie Blind and irreverent hypeman Cam back to wow audiences down under with shows across Australian capital cities, Auckland and the Wave Rock Weekender festival in regional WA.

Widely regarded as one of the best lyrical mc's in the game, Pharoahe Monch's creative motivation and output is consistent even after 20 years on the scene. Praised by the likes of Eminem for always being ahead of his time, his 1998 highly touted solo debut, Internal Affairs, crafted one of the greatest underground Hip-Hop albums ever; featuring the crowd moving hit, 'Simon Says', which became a monster single, propelling Monch to international success. Pharoahe has since released four studio albums and collaborated with the likes of Mos Def, Nate Dogg, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, Justin Timberlake, Aussie hip-hop royalty Hilltop Hoods as well as Australian producer powerhouse M-Phases, just to name a few.

Pharoahe will perform party starters 'Simon Says', 'Push' and 'Welcome to the Terradome' as well as tracks from his extensive catalogue. Rolling in glowing reviews for his 2016 US and UK dates, Pharoahe is coming in hot following a string of successful festival appearances across the globe and 'Simon Says' get a ticket before they sell out.
