What's next for Waxflower?

Congratulations on the release of your new single 'Again'! Can you tell us what the track is about?

‘Again’ is a mantra of hope. A reminder of my capacity to heal when times inevitably get tough. Although it does touch on those times, there is a vein of optimism running through the song that’s new for us. 

What was it like getting Caitlin Henry from Eat Your Heart Out on vocals for the track, and working with your producer Stevie Knight?

As huge fans of EYHO it was an honour to have her. We felt it was fitting to have someone come in to sing the male/female dialogue in the chorus and couldn’t have been happier with how everything came out. Working with her and Stevie on the track was an amazing experience - their talent really shines through.

What's been the highlight of your year so far? 

Just before everything came to a standstill we were able to squeeze our first ever headline tour in. Being able to play a string of headline shows including a sold out hometown show was a perfect way to unknowingly wrap up playing for a while. 

And, what's next to come from you?

Again is the start of a new era for the band, we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
