MUTO SHARES NEW SINGLE 'SAY NOTHING' FT. EMERSON LEIF + NATIONAL TOUR DATES

It’s a special moment when an artist transitions from ‘one to watch’, to becoming recognised by the global industry, and that moment is now for Sydney electronic beatmaker MUTO. Following on from a breakthrough six months, the young producer is set to make international waves with his new single 'Say Nothing' featuring Brisbane vocalist Emerson Leif. 

Currently on tour with Crooked Colours and in line with the release of the new single, MUTO is embarking on a giant run of shows across Australia and Europe. Recently announced on both triple j Unearthed BIGSOUND showcases and with appearances set for This That Festival and Listen Out Melbourne, MUTO's mammoth 30-date run also includes Odesza's ‘A Moment Apart’ European album tour, which he was personally handpicked to support by the electronic powerhouse.

A synthetic journey wrapped in warmth, 'Say Nothing' is a masterfully crafted groove. With a slightly more 4/4 influence in the percussion, MUTO’s ability to find light and shade in his production is met perfectly with the dark and mellow tones of Brisbane vocalist Emerson Leif. The track follows instrumental rollercoaster 'Through The Fog' and electronic adventure, 'Wildfire'. Both tracks  received overwhelming national and community airplay and collectively accumulated over 1 million Spotify streams. 

Capturing the attention of global tastemakers and industry representatives worldwide, MUTO was signed across Europe by Virgin/EMI and picked up by the same booking agent as Flume, Disclosure and SBTRKT. Now, with news of his debut 7-track EP coming in October, a global tour booked and his new single being worked by a global team, it’s set up to be a wonderful end to 2017 for MUTO.
