A quick chat with Juno Disco

Congratulations on your new release ‘You’re So Hung Up On My Colours’! Tell us what the track is about.

The song explores the idea of fame and how it can colour peoples’ opinions.

Who are your biggest inspirations when it comes to making your music?

I think great pop music is the most significant influence we have, whether it be The Beach Boys, Daft Punk or Michael Jackson. But also, newer acts like Harvey Sutherland and Todd Terje have been big influences on us.

What are Juno Disco’s goals for 2021?

Release our new EP! And to be back on-stage playing rock n roll shows again.

Outside of music, what are your other interests?

We’re both huge film fans, and we incorporate that a lot into the music. Nick is a massive footy fan and going to the bloody pub with your friends goes alright as well.

We are all looking forward to going to more and more live shows in the near future, can we expect some shows from Juno Disco?

We’re going flat-stick, full-on House with our live show in 2021. Stay tuned!
