How has Riley Pearce been keeping busy during iso?

I read a book called Big Magic that talks about ideas as being these spirits that exist in the world and are on a neverending quest to get realised and do so by visiting people. And then, if the person is unable to give that idea enough attention for that to happen it’ll go and leave and find another person who might be able to fulfil it’s dream. This song goes out to all the half written songs… a bit of a breakup song. 

What do you do to unwind and relax

I usually turn to some sort of exercise like playing basketball at a local hoop but it’s been raining a lot more in Melbourne since I made the move here from Perth so I’ve started running.  

How have you been keeping yourself busy during isolation?

To be honest, not much has really changed, I’m quite lucky. Yeh I can’t tour but I’ll tour once its all done and I’ll have heaps of new songs as a result of all this iso-writing I’ve been doing. Trying to up my production and piano skills.

What is next for you?

I have SO much new music coming out this year and it’s all a bit of a different direction, a bit more groove behind these songs.
