Word Of The Day - RAThammock

The boys in RAThammock have come through with the goods again, perfectly straddling the line between great storytelling and relatable lyrics. The song is a wild ride and has had us dancing around our living rooms over and over again.

19 - Slowly Slowly

A perfect example of Slowly Slowly at their emotionally charged best. The track showcases why Slowly Slowly are one of the best bands in Melbourne at the moment with great use of dynamics, a melody that will be stuck in your head for weeks at a time and Ben's trademark vocal delivery.

It's OK - The Smith Street Band

These guys have put out one of the best albums of the year so far and this song in particular is a beautiful break up song. It's an incredibly honest song and feels really relatable at the moment given that we are separated from many of the people we love and care for.

Lazy - Loser

This song reflects a lot about life right now. Everyone's stuck at home and feeling a little lazy. Loser have given us an absolute banger to be the soundtrack to doing that!

Don't Call Again - Tkay Maidza

While technically a track from an Adelaide based artist, the beat was put together by Melbourne based producer JahLoon so we'll sneak it onto the list. The result of this collab is a smooth, catchy track absolute dripping with vibes and we can't get enough of it.

Work Of Art - Drastic Park ft. Cassie Sutton

A pop-punk masterpiece that brings the massive sing along vibes. The back and forth between John, the vocalist, and Cassie from Melbourne legends Terra on guest vocals creates some wonderful moments, culminating in a huge outro absolutely loaded with beautiful harmonies - all delivered in Drastic Park's classic, high energy style.

Russian Roulette - Congrats

A moody track from Slowly Slowly frontman Ben Stewart's poppy side project Congrats. This song absolutely slaps and is perfectly enhanced by it's Taranitino-esque music video. Is there anything this man can't do?

Based On A True Story - Oven Gloves

A rocking tune from our friends in Oven Gloves. This song sounds early 2000's indie rock in the best way possible, a fun track that will get you pumped. Could easily be the soundtrack to an action scene or car chase in a Hollywood blockbuster.
