Will Clift's Top 5 Tracks Right Now

 5. ‘Jet Black’ – Anderson.Paak

-       I had to pick one.Paak track but the truth is I could have chosen 20 because I love his music and he pumps out so many quality tunes. Andersons vibe really influenced the latest single ‘Fall In Love’ with his funky bass grooves and rap/RnB vocal style.

4. ‘Please Don’t Make Me Cry’ – Lianne La Havas

-       Lianne La Havas’s guitar-based Soul/RnB writing with the amazing production on this whole album, on top of her ridiculously dreamy vocals make this tune one of my favourites at the moment. Her music has recently inspired my current writing style and I hope one day I can write songs that give people goose bumps the way her songs do!

3. ‘Time Alone With You’ – Jacob Collier (feat. Daniel Caesar)

-       2 for 1 of my favourite artists on this track. Musical prodigy Jacob Collier with RnB royalty Daniel Caesar makes for a such a sweet groove-based track that I love.

2. ‘Real Game’ – Lucky Daye

-       If you haven’t heard of this guy yet, then get onto it because he’s going to be huge. This track is so funky, and his music give me upbeat Frank Ocean vibes.

1. ‘Last 100’ – Tom Misch

-       All of my mates know that Tom Misch is one of my favourite artists. I’ve been a big fan of his for about 5 years and it’s been awesome watching his music progress. This album took a few listens before I could really appreciate it but now has some of my favourite tracks on it. Tom Misch has definitely had a huge influence on my writing.
