AMASTRO RELEASES NEW SINGLE 'ATTRACTED 2 (FT. NED PHILPOT)' & ANNOUNCES NATIONAL TOUR

Sydney based electronic producer AMASTRO has continuously been on the grind for the past year. Following up his latest offering 'Sober'  in August, it allowed him to tour for a second time around Australia as well as supporting Aussie legend, L D R U on his regional tour. Now, Amastro is back once again for another run with his new track, "Attracted 2 Ft. Ned Philpot". It will be released independently on Spotify and iTunes on Friday 3rd November.

The song is about finding a partner in crime you come to fall in love with. You share adventures together that people only dream of. Out of your control, she makes a mistake and although you still want to love her and treasure your memories, you aren't able to because of what she's done. Attracted to her but also attracted to what you both were.

Having only been on the scene for just under two years, he has had countless opportunities playing on some of the biggest and most prestigious stages in Australia like Splendour In The Grass (two years in a row), Party In The Paddock, Groovin The Moo, and his first international show at Your Paradise Fiji alongside the world's best such as Skrillex, Slumberjack and Anna Lunoe. He has also supported Australia's best such as Tash Sultana, Paces, LDRU, Sticky Fingers, Indian Summer, Yahztel, Boo Seeka & Nina Las Vegas.

Under the guise of Amastro, this one man band has currently released two singles this year, Don't Let Me Ft. Sara Flintpremiered on Triple J and was added to Triple J Unearthed high rotation. Angus Murphy is also one half of electro-skank band- Gold Member signed to SureShaker and has been on tour non stop for over a year now supporting indie legends, Boo Seeka, Bootleg Rascal as well as fitting in shows for Amastro.

Amastro has also been nominated for two National Live Music Awards for Best Live Act & Best Electronic alongside Amy Shark, Vera Blue, Peking Duk and many more. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for this multi-instrumentalist because you’re going to be seeing plenty more of him.
