Niche is excited to present multi-instrumentalist FKJ (French Kiwi Juice) and producer extraordinaire POMO at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Max Watt’s to kick off the new year.

FKJ, born Vincent Fenton in New Zealand and raised in Paris which his name pays tribute to has mastered the sound of sophisticatedly smooth electronic music. Before beginning his musical journey, he was a sound engineer in cinemas although music has always been a big part of his life; he began to compose songs at age 13 and recorded his first track at 14, in his uncle’s studio. On stage Fenton plays Guitar, Bass, Saxophone, Piano plus a few other surprise additions to create what the he describes Hip Hop and Funk, influenced by Jazz and Soul. We just call it good music.

Canadian born, POMO cut his teeth on Hip Hop, House and 70’s and 80’s Funk music which has culminated into something wonderful. Following a move to Montreal, POMO linked up with Kaytranada, Ta-Ku and STWO via the HW&W label. Since then POMO has hit his stride in Electronic music, garnering millions of streams internationally for not only his own production as well as a number of re-works of some of dance music’s biggest players. The producer has also seen support for a number of tastemakers including; The Fader, Pitchfork, triple j, Majestic Casual and more.

Of late, POMO has started taking his brand new live show to crowds around the world and Australia is next!

The artists hit the stage for two very special co-headline shows in Sydney on Friday January 5 and Melbourne on January 6 with support from a stack of local legends. Be quick because these shows are going to sell out fast.

Tickets go on sale Monday November 6 via www.nicheproductions.com.au
