ICONIC DANCE MUSIC FESTIVAL CREAMFIELDS RETURNS IN 2017

Dance Nation Australia in collaboration with Evolution Events have today announced the return of one of Australia’s most-loved music festivals, the iconic Creamfields is coming to Melbourne later this year.

Creamfields has blazed the trail for electronic dance events over the last two decades.   Created in 1998, the original dance festival set out to provide the clubbing world with a bespoke large outdoor event putting DJ’s center stage for the first time. Its flagship UK festival has grown from a 25,000 capacity one day show to the 4 day camping behemoth it is today attracting audiences of 70,000.

Creamfields has attracted worldwide attention and has been staged on every continent since 1999. To date, Creamfields has been staged in 22 countries with new territories planned over the next 12 months.  Previously, Creamfields hit the Australian shores in 2010 before taking a hiatus in 2013.

With festival season just around the corner we are pleased to announce the world’s premier electronic music festival will also be celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.

Creamfields will host the biggest and the best DJ’s and electronic artists in Melbourne this November. Renowned for pushing the boundaries of event production over the last few years and creating some of the most groundbreaking stages, the return to Australia will be no different with plans of what they have in store for this year yet to be revealed.

Since its inception, Creamfields has scooped many awards along the way, including seven times award winners for ‘Best Dance Event’ in the UK Festival Awards and scooping the top award in December 2016 for ‘Best Major Festival’, the first time any electronic music festival has won the award, plus has been honoured with the prestigious Music Week Award for ‘Festival Of The Year’ beating off festival titans Glastonbury, V and Reading and award winners for Best International Festival in the DJ Awards.
