Local tastemakers Astral People are thrilled to announce the return of pioneering UK producer, DJ and cartoonist Mr. Scruff to Australia, with an intimate four-hour set at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Sunday, November 19.

First making a name for himself in the mid 90s Manchester club scene, Mr Scruff has since released critically acclaimed albums through the likes of Ninja Tune and Warp, sold over half a million records worldwide and embarked on countless tours across the globe, all confirming his now cult DJ status. His broad range of influences spanning soul, funk, jazz, reggae, dubstep, Latin and house make for an unconventional, unforgettable and invigorating set.

The Sunday evening affair kicks off with a back-to-back set from two local artists touting electronic, techno and disco flair - Ariane and Anno. A firm Sydney favourite, Ariane will bring her flavourful, electric dance selects to the session, having held residencies at some of Sydney’s best past and present venues. While, Sydney-based DJ and tastemaker, Anno is a long time resident of the now infamous Lovebombs parties, moving limbs from overcrowded and sweaty house parties to heaving ball court park jams and secret rooftop lock-ins. Together, the pair will deliver a memorable warm-up of songs you wouldn't usually hear in standalone sets.

Don't miss this Sunday celebration of good music and good times, when one of dance music's most respected and acclaimed faces, Mr. Scruff returns to Sydney for an extremely special and extended appearance.
