EMC 2017

Electronic Music Conference is a gathering of like minded people surrounding the current issues and developments in the industry as we know it. Whether you are an aspiring artist, manager or working within PR or an agency its almost essential you attend conferences such as EMC.

This year, it did come with a venue change, spread across 3 different venues within Redfern, which in my opinion did make it a little more difficult to network and just being closely connected with everyone involved it made the connections a little harder to reach; yet still achievable.

One of the biggest notes taken down within the conference would have been the mention of social media and its power that comes with it in the industry. It is essential that a greater understanding of how things are projected is so important in reaching the end goal. 

Overall, EMC for 2017, given the venue spread was a success and look forward to where 2018 takes EMC and thank the team behind it very much for giving a platform of people to discuss and push this industry further.
