Having launched a creative community, Ricochet, on International Women’s Day this year, songwriter, DJ and radio host KLP (Kristy Lee Peters) has teamed up with music publicist Anna Fitzgerald to launch Ricochet BALL, a mixed netball competition for the music and creative industries to raise money for female-focused charities.

The first Ricochet BALL will take place on Friday, 28th September in Sydney, with the mixed netball competition open to teams from record labels, touring agencies, media, musicians and other creatives. Ricochet BALL aims to bring people together in a safe, healthy and inclusive environment, with each team raising money for their chosen charity.

On launching Ricochet BALL, KLP said, “It’s been a dream of mine for a few years now to launch Ricochet, so to be bringing it to life and launching what’s to come with the first Ricochet BALL is incredibly exciting.”

Anna Fitzgerald added, “Kristy and I both had the same idea of launching a mixed netball competition for the music industry and we thought this year was the perfect time to make it happen. We hope everyone gets involved, starts training and raising money for their chosen charity!”

The first Ricochet BALL will happen in Sydney on Friday, 28th September from 2pm – 6pm, with Nike kitting out all teams on the day, and post-tournament celebrations to follow. Registrations are limited, so teams are encouraged to register their interest at contact@thisisricochet.com.
