The Hiding releases new single "Lost Kids Balloon"

After seeing a single spun on the Kyle and Jackie O Alist and across 140 college-radio stations throughout the USA and Canada and a song featured in Australia’s reality TV show ‘The Block’, Melbourne’s indie electro-pop outfit is releasing their new single, ‘LOST KIDS BALLOON’.

‘Lost Kids Balloon’ is produced by Ryan Ritchie who also produced Kimbra’s ARIA award winning single ‘Cameo Lover’ and is the founder of Melbourne’s cult band True Live.

‘Lost Kids Balloon’ is an upbeat track with an edgy guitar melody, smooth vocals and synth-pop lines that will have you grooving along immediately. The Hiding has embraced a new direction with experimental arrangements that lift the song to another level.

‘Lost Kids Balloon’ is supported by remixes from Ministry Of Sound and Ultra Records artist Sunset Child who has a whopping 4 million clicks on Spotify, New York duo Designer Drugs (Sex Cult Records/Ultra Records) and Melbourne’s own Orches.

“‘Feeling like a lost kids balloon drifting out of view’ is the awakening when you realise you're no longer in your loved one's future. We always feel in some stage of our life that we are the only ones getting these sets backs and that the grass is always greener on the other side. ‘I feel I'm always shit out of luck, what would life be like if the doors weren't shut’, a metaphor aimed at illustrating that feeling.” – THE HIDING
