AMASTRO RELEASES NEW SINGLE & ANNOUNCES NATIONAL TOUR

Amastro, the moniker of Sydney-based electronic producer Angus Murphy, is back with his latest offering, Sober. It will be released independently on Spotify and iTunes on Friday 5th August.This is the second track off his forthcoming, second EP that will be out later in the year. 

" I wrote Sober while on tour with Boo Seeka, it explores promiscuity within relationships and how the added effect of substance can make someone do stupid shit".

Amastro has played stages all around Australia including Party In The Paddock in Tassie, supporting Tash Sultana at Courtyard Live, playing a show to his home crowd at Canberra's Groovin In The Moo as well as Splendour In the Grass for a second year in a row. He has had countless opportunities supporting major Australian acts such as Paces, LDRU, Sticky Fingers, Indian Summer, Yahztel, Boo Seeka & Nina Las Vegas.  His previous single, Don't Let Me Ft. Sara Flint premiered on Triple J and was added to Triple J Unearthed then added onto high rotation and has reached 67K streams on Spotify.

Angus Murphy is also one half of electro-skank band- Gold Member signed to SureShaker and has been on tour non stop for over a year now supporting indie legends, Boo Seeka, Bootleg Rascal as well as fitting in shows for Amastro.

Next month, Amastro will jump on as main support for L D R U's Australian Sizzlar tour and will announce his own headline tour on Monday 31st July!
