BASENJI REVEALS NEW SINGLE "DON'T LET GO"

One of Australia’s most critically-acclaimed producers, Basenji, returns today with his first official new release in nearly two years, "Don’t Let Go" featuring Mereki, as premiered on triple j by Richard Kingsmill.
 
"Don’t Let Go" is another visionary creation from the producer, maintaining pop sensibilities whilst pushing the genre’s boundaries. Combining the ethereal vocals of Australian born, LA based artist Mereki with an uplifting beat and intricately layered synths, Basenji continues to create beautiful sonically-textured compositions. 
 
The producer has steadily risen to the top of the electronic music community, earning a reputation for consistently delivering impeccable tracks. Picked up in 2014 by Future Classic, debut singles "Dawn" and "Heirloom" flew up the iTunes Electronic charts. Following its release, Basenji was named the FBi Click Producer of the Year in 2014, playing his first Boiler Room show and performing at the iconic Sydney Opera House as part of Vivid LIVE Festival. 2015's follow up EP Trackpad soared online and has since accumulated over 12.6 million plays on Spotify, with EP cuts "Petals" ft. Scenic and "Can’t Get Enough" both topping the Hype Machine charts.
 
In between releasing new music, the producer has kept a busy live schedule, touring nationally several times, including his recent Homework tour; a run of free shows at universities across Australia. He also made appearances at some of the country’s biggest festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Listen Out, OutsideIn, Beyond The Valley and Curveball, played a run of shows in Europe and supported Flume on a handful of dates across America in 2016.
  
With a new single under his belt and more on the way soon, Basenji looks set to dominate radio and dancefloors well into 2018.
