The Handpicked Festival is set to host its biggest line up, when powerhouse Matt Corby, rock royalty Jet, indie pop sensation San Cisco and exciting indie-rockers The Jezabels take to the stage at Langhorne Creek’s Lake Breeze Wines on Saturday the 11th of November, 2017.

Matt Corby who has grown from one of the country’s most exciting prospects into one of the nation’s best loved performers, will take to the stage for his first Handpicked Festival.

Corby has captivated crowds by his process of self discovery through his critically acclaimed debut album, Telluric, which saw him dig deep to find a sound that would satisfy both his soul and his audience.

After touring the world, playing in over 95 shows and selling over 100,000 tickets, the ARIA award winner will enchant crowds with his infectious live show and give fans a taste of what’s to come.

“After wowing crowds at Splendour in the the Grass, Glastonbury, Lowlands and Sasquatch, Matt Corby is set to tantalize crowds in South Australia,” said Kate Cooper.

Fresh off the back of a rock revival no one saw coming, global powerhouse Jet will send fans into a frenzy when they perform for the first time in six years to South Australian crowds.

The Melbourne band who sky-rocketed into the international charts with hits, “Are You Gonna Be My Girl,” “Rollover DJ” and “Look What You’ve Done,” will take to the stage on Saturday the 11th of November at Lake Breeze Wines.

With a string of big-name acts recently snubbing the state, twenty-five-year-old event organiser, Kate Cooper, worked around the clock to secure the Australian rock royalty.

“To snag a huge international act like Jet who has sold more than 6.5 million albums and netted six Aria Awards is incredibly exciting and such a big win for the state,” said Kate Cooper.

After extensive touring around the world, playing festivals at home and headline tours from Maitland to Mexico, Western Australian indie pop sensation, San Cisco, will get the mosh pit moving at the Handpicked Festival.

The foursome who unwittingly found themselves defining hipster culture with the video for their break out hit “Awkward,” have released their third sophomore album, “The Water.’

Sydney band, The Jezabels will bring a blend of indie rock and disco pop to the line up, with hits ‘Endless Summer,’ ‘Dark Storm’ and new single ‘The Others.’

The band is fresh from appearing in a run of sold out shows at the Sydney Landsdowne Hotel and is revisiting its romantic roots with its new music.

“It’s the biggest line up the Handpicked Festival has ever seen, so we’re so excited for music lovers to converge on Langhorne Creek’s Lake Breeze Wines, just an hour out of Adelaide for an epic day,” says Kate Cooper.

The hunt is on for local performers, with the Handpicked Festival giving one lucky South Australian act the chance to get on stage and play alongside the stellar line up.

“Every year I put a call out for local South Australian bands to send me their latest EP, so I get a list of about 200 every year and from that list I cut it down to five and put it to the polls on social media,” says Kate Cooper.

The boutique festival is a complete sensory experience, showcasing Lake Breeze’s award-winning wines, food trucks serving delicious local produce and a diverse range of local arts, crafts, jewelry and home wares at ‘The Lane.’

Festival goers can party well into the night with Handpicked providing a Tent City, with space for up to 500 campers and even an opportunity for some to indulge in ‘glamping.’

The Handpicked Festival will kick off at 1pm on Saturday November 11th at Lake Breeze Winery, Langhorne Creek. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased for $89.95 from www.handpickedfestival.com
